Global industry leaders to get first view of Emaar project that is setting standards for the future

Dubai, September 14, 2005: The full scale of Emaar Properties’ signature Burj Dubai Development will be unveiled to an international audience of property investors and developers during Cityscape 2005.

Emaar, the world’s number one real estate company, today announced that it would use the investment property industry’s top event to showcase a model of the Burj Dubai Development including the ‘super’ tower, as well as some of its latest launches within the Development including the Arabian-styled Old Town and The Lofts apartments. This is the first full demonstration of how the Burj Dubai will take shape.

Mark Amirault, Emaar’s Senior Director for International Development, will lead a presentation to accompany Emaar’s special display. The global investors and developers at the show can expect definitive facts and figures of the 500-acre, AED 73 billion Development that is poised to set new standards within the industry.

Amirault said: “This is certainly a watershed event in the development of the new urban district that will define Dubai. We have reached a stage where all the elements that will go into the Development have been pinned down and it is time to start sending out the message of the remarkable nature of what is being developed on the site.”

Emaar has planned a series of events for the three-day duration of the exhibition at Dubai’s International Trade Centre, beginning on day one with Amirault’s presentation.

On day three, Emaar has planned a visit for the industry’s top names to the Burj Dubai Presentation Centre which will feature top design and architectural highlights, a model apartment of the tower and the opportunity to see its progress. The tower is expected to have reached Level 9 during the exhibition.

“Dubai has become the place to watch over the past few years. Its vision of becoming one of the major cities in the world continues and its offering of innovative developments coupled with the changes in land and property ownership laws has made it highly attractive for investors,” added Amirault.

Emaar’s stand at the Cityscape Exhibition will undoubtedly become the centre of attention and will feature an interactive touch screen offering a personal tour of the Burj Dubai Development.

The Emaar stand is located in Sheikh Rashid Hall at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre from Saturday September 17 to Monday September 19.
