Emaar unveils Standpoint residences on Burj Dubai Boulevard at Downtown Burj Dubai

Dubai, UAE, January 17, 2008: Emaar Properties has strengthened its roster of premium residential projects within Downtown Burj Dubai – the new centre of the city - with the launch of tower one, the first of two Standpoint towers. Located on Burj Dubai Boulevard, the vigilantly designed Standpoint offers residents a fresh and distinctive perspective to modern living, offering an array of lifestyle choices.

Located on Burj Dubai Boulevard, the two Standpoint towers are situated in close proximity to Burj Dubai, the world’s tallest building. Standpoint also offers residents easy access to already-active retail and hospitality offerings, with the Souk al Bahar mall and The Palace, Al Manzil and Al Qamardeen hotels, positioned either side of Burj Dubai Boulevard.

Creating a surplus of perspectives, Standpoint contrasts contemporary exteriors with classic interiors, emphasized by specially chosen motifs and materials. The sweeping facades of the towers maximize views over Downtown Burj Dubai while minimizing sight-lines to adjacent apartments, enhancing residents’ privacy. Potential home-owners can choose from studios and one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments with several institutions offering easy home finance options.

Mr Saif Al Mansoori, Sales Director, Emaar Properties, said: “Downtown Burj Dubai is already bustling with life, and offers residents several community-based lifestyle options. Souk Al Bahar, a spread of colourful Burj Dubai Boulevard activities and the three world-class hotels that are now operational provide a distinctive flavour to living in Dubai’s newest community. Emaar has already handed over homes at The Residences and The Old Town, and residents at Standpoint can look forward to a vibrant living environment that is now the new heart of the city.”

The Standpoint residences serve as ideal homes for the younger generation, who value living in one of the most dynamic environments in the city.  Entry to the buildings will be through a secure and spacious lobby, and residents will benefit from assigned underground parking, a modern gymnasium, a swimming pool, outdoor poolside amenities and multi-purpose room. The suites feature 9 ft ceilings in principal rooms accentuating an atmosphere of light and space. Quality finishes, tinted double-glazed windows, and modern kitchen and bathroom fittings are standard inclusions within all units.

With its central location on Burj Dubai Boulevard, residents at Standpoint can enjoy varied aspects of downtown living. Residents can look forward to art and cultural events, enhanced shopping experiences and ease of access to the rest of Downtown Burj Dubai including The Dubai Mall, one of the world’s largest shopping and entertainment destinations. The homes are also in proximity to the business nerve-centres of Dubai including the Dubai International Financial Centre, and Sheikh Zayed Road.

Standpoint will open for sale on January 19.  Potential investors can call toll-free on 800-EMAAR (800-36227) for more details.

Downtown Burj Dubai is Emaar properties’ flagship mega-project worth AED 73 billion (US$20 billion). The mixed-use development comprises residential, commercial, hospitality and leisure units set around an expansive lake and a boulevard.
