Dubai Polo and Equestrian Club offers innovative choices for events and conferences

Dubai, UAE, November 26, 2007: The Dubai Polo and Equestrian Club, a premier destination for polo and equestrian enthusiasts within the Arabian Ranches community and part of Emaar Hospitality Group, has unveiled a range of conference and event facilities. Away from the bustle of the city, yet easily accessible from the city centre, the Club offers a perfect platform for hosting events and meetings in an innovative setting.

The Club offers four state-of-the-art indoor meeting facilities for up to 60 delegates, including a main meeting room and the Barooda Lounge. Amenities include entire audio-visual equipment and food & beverage offerings for delegates. Outdoor facilities include the Saha Courtyard, offering a unique experience ideal for corporate and wedding receptions, as well terraces and a practice polo field area that can host up to 2,000 guests.

“The facilities at the Dubai Polo and Equestrian Club bring a dash of innovation to venues for events and conferences,” said Karim Klaa, General Manager, Dubai Polo and Equestrian Club. “With its large capacity and exclusive in-house food and beverage offerings, the Club’s capability to deliver value to corporate and social clients complements our vision to demonstrate the Club’s versatility and utility.”

“Whatever the occasion, the Dubai Polo and Equestrian Club strives to meet the client’s requirements,” added Mr Klaa. “It forms the perfect retreat that also has the potential for corporate outings while serving as a platform for teambuilding exercises.”

From a leisure and entertainment perspective, Dubai Polo and Equestrian Club has a unique Spanish hacienda-styled clubhouse, where guests and members can relax at one of four stylish lounges or dine at Palermo, a divine steakhouse and grill restaurant – a welcoming venue with potential for corporate dining. The Angsana Spa at the club offers total body pampering for members, while fitness enthusiasts can head to the well-equipped gymnasium.

Located within the well-established Arabian Ranches neighbourhood, the Dubai Polo and Equestrian Club extends over 68 acres of desert landscape. Apart from polo, regarded as the Sport of Kings, the Club hosts show jumping and dressage, horse riding and desert hacking. It has 336 stables, 25 paddocks, two polo fields, one practice field and two riding/ show jumping arenas. The all-weather surfaces of the riding, show jumping and dressage areas are regarded as one of the best in the region.
