Why do I have to pay transfer registration fees to Emaar Properties upon transferring my property? Emaar charges a nominal percentage of the selling price as a transfer registration fee. This transfer is registered in Emaar’s Property Register and subsequently to be registered at the Lands Department. The fee is part of the administrative charges involved in completing the transaction.
How many people need to attend the transfer of my property? The transfer needs to be attended by the Transferor/s, Transferee/s and their agent / lawyer, if any.
Will Emaar issue me a Visa after I complete the Purchase of my property?
Yes, Emaar will issue you a residence visa subject to the following criteria:
a. You are not eligible for a visa through an employer in the UAE
b. You do not have any business interests in the UAE
c. The co-owners of the property do not have a valid UAE residence visa
The Purchaser will have to prove the above mentioned status expressly.
